What GitHub and Microsoft have to gain from the acquisition


Last night, Bloomberg published a report saying that Microsoft had acquired GitHub. The formal announcement is expected to drop later today. The deal has caused no shortage of turmoil in the developer community. Many are unhappy with the deal. Some are so upset, they’re migrating to the rival GitLab service.
