Maria has been with Philips for more than 20 years, so she’s experienced first-hand the organisation’s transformation. From lighting and semi-conductors to consumer electronics and healthcare technology. Like Philips her own journey has been anything but predictable. She embraces change and adapts to market needs to stay at the top of her profession and believes that Philips continued success as a global leader, is a result of the same approach. If you had told her when she joined as a finance intern that she’d end up in business development she would never have believed you. And now of course she can’t imagine going back. From finance to trade marketing, project management to sales, across many areas of the business, she’s made the most of every opportunity and enjoyed a rich and fulfilling career.
